Overview

ncrypted is a zero-server, offline-first encrypted file sharing app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

What We Don’t Collect

• No accounts or sign-up required
• No analytics or tracking
• No crash reporting
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data

What Stays on Your Device

• Your RSA identity keypair — generated locally and stored in your device’s secure enclave (iOS Keychain). Never transmitted.
• Your contacts’ public keys — stored locally on your device only.
• Encrypted files — all encryption and decryption happens on-device. No files are sent to any server.

Camera Usage

The camera is used solely to scan QR codes for key exchange. No images or video are stored or transmitted.

File Access

Files you select are read locally for encryption only. ncrypted does not upload, copy, or retain your files.

Third-Party Services

ncrypted uses no third-party SDKs, analytics, or services that collect data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
